Product Name: Release Agent
Item No.: SilibaseRAJ-1968

Introduction
A 21st century rubber mold release application solution characterized by smooth, clean molds and maximum release times. SilibaseRAJ-1968 Release Agent is a water-based semi durable mold release agent that has reached the latest technological development level, specially designed, and developed for the rubber industry. SilibaseRAJ-1968 Release Agent provides an incredibly easy demolding mode, which can result in cleaner and cleaner finished products, and efficient cost savings with less usage and more demolding quantities.Chinese Factory Produce Similar to DAIFREE GW-250 Release Agent.

Advantage

  • Ideally, it is widely used in rubber and synthetic rubber.
  • Provide a simple one-step and immediate vulcanization application.
  • Provide excellent easy and long-lasting demolding capabilities.
  • Provide a larger number of release times without adhesion or adhesive phenomena.
  • It does not affect secondary processing, such as bonding, painting, printing, etc.
  • Avoiding the accumulation of residues inside the mold can keep it clean for a longer time.
  • A non-toxic, water-based, environmentally friendly and efficient mold release agent that meets FDA standards.
  • No adhesion or adhesion occurs.
  • Three component isopropyl rubber (EPDM) for fluor rubber, polyacrylate rubber, natural rubber, and peroxide vulcanization

Applicable Methods
Chinese Factory of Analogue DAIFREE GW-250 A non-toxic Release Agent.
Directly use or mix ion exchange water or purified water to dilute and use evenly. If left unused for a long time, please stir well before use.

Dilution During Use
  • Please use a dilution ratio of 1:10 for initial testing, and the appropriate dilution ratio for your company can be determined by your technical personnel after testing.
  • We strongly recommend using pure water (or filtered tap water) as a diluent. It can maximize the effectiveness of this product's research and development intentions. Your company can also test and compare this product with pure water and tap water.
Recommended Temperature Range for Use
Room temperature to 200℃.

Application Guidance:
Analogue for DAIFREE GW-250 water-based Release Agent.
  • Thoroughly remove any release agents and pollutants remaining on the surface of the mold with appropriate cleaning agents and keep the mold surface dry.
  • Raise the mold surface temperature to 100 ℃, spray the mold with ultra-fine automatic spray, use the minimum coating amount in all directions and make the interface completely dry.
  • Apply 1 to 3 layers of EZ Kote solution evenly on the mold to enhance the sealing between the product and the mold. If the temperature cannot be adjusted in the operating space, additional attention needs to be paid to ensuring that the surface of the mold is dry.
  • Put the production raw materials onto the mold for production operation. After the upper/lower molds of the mold show sticking phenomenon, it is necessary to spray again. After a few cycles, the sustainability of this product can be determined.
  • For example, if the continuity of this product is 5 molds, that is, if mold sticking starts from the 6th mold after spraying, then the spraying operation should be in a cycle of 5 molds per cycle. Please spray the release agent again after the 5th mold. In future production, please follow this cycle to increase the anti-fouling ability of the mold.

Q&A
1. After spraying, there will be a shortage of materials. What is the reason for this?
A: This phenomenon can occur when the release agent is too smooth, the smoothness is not enough, and the adhesive material is insufficient.

2.Why sometimes there is a partial demolding and a partial non demolding?
A: There may be several reasons as follows: uneven spraying. The release agent was not stirred evenly during dilution.

3.Why does the product have poor bonding after spraying?
A: This is because the concentration of the release agent is too high or sprayed too heavily.

4.Why do we need to spray again after the 5th mold instead of the 6th mold in the application guide?
A: Due to the sticking phenomenon of the sixth mold, it indicates that the protective film on the surface of the mold has been damaged and pollutants have adhered to the mold. At this time, spraying fluorine resin can only adhere to the pollutants and cannot form an effective protective film.
The 5th mold spraying can repair the fragile parts of the protective film in advance, achieving the effect of mold anti fouling.

5.Why is it necessary to thoroughly clean any other release agents and pollutants remaining in the mold before using this product?
A: Because fluororesin must adhere to the metal surface of the mold, forming a hard protective film, if not cleaned thoroughly, fluororesin can only adhere to pollutants, making the protective film very fragile.

6.Why do we need to start by evenly spraying 1 to 3 layers of solution before production?
A: Spraying 1 to 3 layers of solution can ensure that the fluororesin evenly fills the pores on the surface of the mold and pulls the fluororesin together to form a protective film.

7.Why does the mold temperature need to be above 100 ℃ to spray the first layer of release agent?
A: The boiling point of water at atmospheric pressure is 100 ℃. When the surface temperature of the mold is 100 ℃, the sprayed water can evaporate instantly, leaving fluororesin on the mold. If the temperature of the mold is insufficient and the moisture cannot evaporate in time, it is possible to form scale or cause the mold to rust.

8.Why must pure water be used instead of tap water when diluting?
Compared with pure water, tap water contains a large amount of suspended solids and other substances with high molecular weight, which can easily contaminate the mold and affect the demolding effect.

9.Why does it sometimes occur that there is no demolding effect at all?
A︰ The dilution ratio of the release agent is too high or the release agent is not suitable for this application.
